Hey there! My name is Jason (friends call me Spike). I live in the Summerville area, and I've been herping for three years now. I'm a student/herpetologist/wildlife photographer. How can I be of assistance?

Hi Spike. I am a freelance nature writer and I needed contacts for an article I was writing. I've finished that article but would love to hear more about what you do.

Thanks
Betsy

Re: SC

Let's see, where to begin. I'm in college, studying to be a herpetologist. When I'm not in school, or at my day job, I'm out in the field, tracking and capturing herps of all kinds. (Did I mention I'm a freelance wildlife photographer?) Basically, I gather my gear, head out to the field (which varies from a patch of woods, to a river, to ponds, swamps, anywhere) and I seek out the reptiles and amphibians in the area. I catch them, measure them (size, weight, etc) and release them. Oh, and I take their picture while I have them. So, just let me know what kind of information you need, and I'll be happy to help!
